PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The police are investigating shots fired into a house in Smith Hill early Saturday morning.
This was at least the third time that the house at 122 Bath St. has been hit by gunfire. The bullet holes from the previous incidents in January 2011 and December still remain; at least one of the incidents was believed to be gang related.
Around 1 a.m., Bobby Saengrathg, 19, and his father, Silang Malathong, 58, told the police they heard gunshots coming from the back of the house. Neither were injured.
The police found one bullet on the kitchen counter and another on the kitchen floor, and eight spent shell casings in the driveway of 401 Orms St., according to a police report.
