CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. -- Two masked gunmen held up a downtown bank just after it opened Friday morning.

The two men drew guns and demanded money from a teller at the Bank of America branch at 375 Broad St., according to the Central Falls police.

The men fled with cash. No gunfire was reported. Police did not release descriptions or photos of the robbers Friday afternoon.

It's the second armed bank robbery in the Greater Providence area in eight days.

Providence police are still seeking the masked gunman who held up a Bank of America branch on Charles Street soon after it opened Dec. 20. The robber waved a gun and demanded "the large" from tellers. He got money and fled without firing a shot.
