PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Dentist Peter J. D'Allessandro, of Ocean State Dental Group in Cranston, has signed an agreement -- with state parties that include the R.I. Department of Health, the Attorney General's office and the office that oversees the division of Medicaid services -- that D'Allessandro will receive a reprimand and be on probation for two years, during which the health department will examine charts at random to insure compliance with minimum requirements for record-keeping and billing.
D'Allessandro also agreed that he must reimburse the state for $30,000, with $10,000 of that going to cover the cost of the investigation.
