Neighbors Leon Harris and Barbara Peoples gave out free chili, chicken, coffee, tea, cookies and cornbread on 1200 block of New Jersey Ave NW in the Mount Vernon neighborhood. After the inauguration, the neighbors invited passersby to stop for food, drink and to warm by the chiminea. They offered the hospitality during the last inauguration too.
