South Kingstown woman identified as victim who jumped from highway overpass

WARWICK, R.I. -- A woman who leapt to her death from a Route 95 overpass Wednesday has been identified as Nicole Norman, 41, of South Kingstown.

The authorities said Norman jumped onto the northbound lanes of Route 95 from the Route 113 overpass in Warwick and was struck by two cars, State Police Lt. Joseph Philbin said.

Her car was found parked on the westbound side of the overpass, known also as the East Avenue bridge.
