PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A triple shooting on Sackett Street and two unrelated stabbing incidents kept city police busy overnight, and left one man in critical condition.

Maisa Akanhay told police he had been shot in the upper left thigh, while he was standing outside 35 Sackett St., smoking a cigarette around 4 a.m. Sunday, by an unknown assailant in a Jeep Cherokee as it drove by.

At Rhode Island Hospital, the police report said,Dwayne Stutts was being treated for gunshots wounds to his stomach and leg and Jamal Stutts was being treated for a gunshot wound to his shoulder that they too said they had received on Sackett Street.

The two apparently drove themselves to the hospital where, the police report, noted numerous gunshot holes on the driver's side and windshield of the Stutts' vehicle.

Police are still searching for a suspect involved in a fracas that began at Ada's Creations on Broad Street that spilled over to Vermont Avenue, where police found Juan Oquendo "bleeding from under is shirt'' around 1:46 a.m. Oquendo was in critical condition, according to Police Major Thomas Verdi Capt.

After an unrelated incident late Saturday, police said, Jency Moscoso turned herself in after stabbing a man identified as her boyfriend, Rheem Perez, and accidentally cutting another person, Emeli Martinez, during a domestic dispute at 41 Ashmont Street.

Moscoso was charged with felony domestic assault, arraigned and released on $1,000 cash bail.
