PROVIDENCE _ A ``prospect'' from a Hells Angels chapter in Virginia was arrested on drug charges after he was stopped by the state police on Saturday en route to an anniversary celebration at the motorcycle gang's headquarters in the city's West End.
Detective Cmdr. Capt. Michael J. Winquist said that Donald L. Crain, 40, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, allegedly had cocaine and an amphetamine without a prescription in his possession. He was charged with two counts of possesion of a controlled substance. He was arraigned at the Lincoln Barracks and released on $100 surety bail.
Winquist said that Crain was driving his van erratically on Route 10 and was pulled over early Saturday afternoon. Four passengers in the van were full-fledged members of the motorcycle gang, including the president of the Virginia Beach Side Chapter.
