While the National Weather Service, WPRI and Boston.com are saying the forecast isn't yet clear enough to predict the storm's impact, a Boston television station's website is saying Friday's "snow could be the biggest in two years."
CBS Boston says there's the potential for more than a foot of snow in Eastern Massachusetts, while "a large area of at least 6-to-12 inches is possible for almost all of Southern New England including the coastline."
Meanwhile, WPRI is "watching a potentially significant winter storm," saying snow could mix with rain.
The National Weather Service and Boston.com are saying computer models aren't showing enough agreement to forecast yet with confidence.
