PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Southern New Englanders should watch out for slippery roads on this Thursday morning since the temperature dropped close to the freezing mark after Wednesday's rain, according to our weather partners at WPRI.
Scattered showers are in today's forecast, primarily in the afternoon and evening. The high temperature should reach 48 degrees with light west-southwest winds.
A flood warning has been canceled for the Pawtuxet River since water levels have fallen back below flood stage.
The region could see slippery roads Friday morning and light snow showers early. The temperature should reach the low to mid 40s Friday.
