PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A 16-year-old Providence boy pleaded not guilty in Superior Court of the murders of a young couple and their friend last July.

Quandell Husband is one of four people charged in the murders of Shemeeka Barros, 22, Michael Martin, 23, and Damien Colon, 22, who were slain inside Barros' apartment in Wanskuck over what police say is a botched robbery. Only Barros' two daughters and 6-year-old brother were left alive.

Husband's father, Quandell Stuckey, said his son was innocent.

Donavann Hall, 19, pleaded guilty on Friday to setting up the robbery.

Timothy Debritto, 27, pleaded not guilty Monday and returned to jail, where he is serving 50 years for another shooting.

Russell Burrell, 17, one of Husband's close friends, will be arraigned Monday afternoon.
