CUMBERLAND, R.I. -- Two suspects were arrested Tuesday in a bar fight stabbing at the Broad Street Tap.
A 39-year-old man was stabbed multiple times just before 11:32 p.m. Monday, a Cumberland Police Department news release said. Arrested were Clarence Mowry, 32, of 141 Farm St., Woonsocket, and Shawn Plunkett, 21, of 282 High St., Cumberland. Both were seen in District Court, Providence.
Mowry was charged with felony conspiracy, simple assault and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting cash on surety bail.
Plunkett was charged with felony assault and disorderly conduct. He was unable to post property or cash for surety bail.
Prearraignment conferences were scheduled for both on May 7.
