Passing what he calls the first tree of the season to turn, Aaron Baribeault of Providence takes his morning walk with his dog Pearl around Roger Williams Park early Wednesday. Baribeault and Pearl were out checking on the mushrooms growing in the park. Getting out early might have been an advantage, as the forecast calls for showers.
