PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A 4-foot version of Mr. T held three women at knifepoint, while two other men ransacked their apartment in the Reservoir Triangle Wednesday night.
Police believe the apartment was targeted by the robbers.
The women told police that the three men forced their way into the first-floor apartment at 108 Rutherglen Ave. just before 10:30 p.m., Cmdr. Thomas F. Oates III said. One woman was punched in the face.
As the short man with a Mohawk brandished a knife, the other men grabbed jewelry, coins, and a wooden box, Oates said. They were described as 5 foot 3, and 6 foot 3 and wearing a mask, Oates said.
