Finally a forecast that sounds like spring

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- This could be the warmest day of the season with the temperature reaching 54 to 58 degrees, according to our weather partners at WPRI.

Expect a sunny start and then partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. There's a slight chance of a shower or sprinkles after 4 p.m., says meteorologist Michelle Muscatello.

The temperature will drop into the 30s tonight but should warm to 55 Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds.

Easter Sunday should start out clear and bright, but clouds will move in later and rain should develop after 6 p.m. The high temperature should reach the mid 50s.
