PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- You can't escape the supernatural these days.
Whether its extraterrestrials or zombies or devilish do-badders, ghoulish what-have-yous seem to be infecting every part of American cultural life.
The websites of dead corporations are no exception - at least in the case of defunct Providence videogame company 38 Studios.
Someone, it seems, is inhabiting the 38 Studios website -- 38studios.com -- nearly a year after the company imploded in spectacular fashion.
Visiting the company's homepage brings up a recently posted message, under the title "Please Excuse the Mess."
Embedded links lead to a page with stories about the 38 Studios financial disaster and also to a Google search page, where the company says you can find "...updates on the former tenants: Curt Shilling, Green Monster Games, etc.".
