Newport Restaurant Week
Nearly 50 restaurants in Newport and Bristol counties will participate in Newport Restaurant Week, offering fixed-price three-course lunches for $16 and three-course dinners for $30. Classical music
The Rhode Island Philharmonic Community Orchestra and the Farmington Valley Symphony Orchestra perform Mahler's Sixth Symphony Saturday at 8 p.m. at St. Ann Arts and Cultural Center, 84 Cumberland St., Woonsocket. Tickets are $15, $5 for students and seniors. Call (401) 248-7001.

Home Show
The 63rd annual Rhode Island Builders Association Home Show continues at the Rhode Island Convention Center, One Sabin St., Providence, through Sunday. The show features exhibitions, seminars, cooking demonstrations, free antiques appraisals and a full-sized model home complete with everything from furniture and appliances to lighting and landscaping. Hours are Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10, 65+ $8, children 15 and younger free. (401) 438-7400, (401) 458-6000; ribuilders.org.

Alicia Keys
Keys is performing at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn., on Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $95 to $150.

Fun basketball
The Harlem Globetrotters return to the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence on Saturday at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20 to $31.
