CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel says the city's hearts go out to the victims of the deadly explosions in Boston.
Emanuel put out a statement Monday afternoon, hours after two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Emanuel says he called Boston Mayor Thomas Menino to "convey support from the people of Chicago."
The Chicago mayor lauded the "patriotism and professionalism" of the public servants and first responders in Boston.
