Jamestown police identify woman who washed ashsore

JAMESTOWN, R.I. -- A woman whose body washed ashore Sunday morning has been identified as Barbora Persinova, 34, of West Roxbury, Mass.

An autopsy found Persinova died of injuries consistent to having jumped from the Jamestown Bridge, Jamestown police said.

A Jamestown resident found the body at about 8:10 Sunday morning in shallow water just off a beach on the west shore, about a mile south of the bridge, police said.
