PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Members of the Providence Student Union will hold their own State of the Student address Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in front of the State House.
They will describe the current condition of Rhode Island students and present their own proposals for the educational changes young people need to achieve high standards. Topics include curriculum, teaching and learning, school repairs, assessment and high stakes NECAP testing.
