PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Amtrak is replacing railroad ties in New England, and the work will affect MBTA commuter rail service between Providence, T.F. Green Airport and Wickford Junction for five Fridays between July 12 and Aug. 9.
These six trains will be affected:
8803 (5:45 a.m. from Providence to Wickford) will not stop at airport.
813 (4 p.m. from Boston to Wickford) will end at airport, but buses will continue to Wickford.
817 (5 p.m. from Boston to Wickford) will end at airport, with buses to Wickford.
819 (5:40 p.m. from Boston to Wickford) will end at airport, with buses to Wickford.
8802 (6:55 p.m. from Wickford to Providence) will not operate, but buses will substitute.
8804 (7:45 p.m. from Wickford to Providence) will not operate, but buses will substitute.
