The rain and muggy weather didn't stop amateur butterfly lovers and naturalists from the Rhode Island Audubon Society from helping out with the 10th annual North American Butterfly Associatiion Butterfly Count Saturday.

The rain and muggy weather didn't stop amateur butterfly lovers and naturalists from the Rhode Island Audubon Society from helping out with the 10th annual North American Butterfly Associatiion Butterfly Count Saturday.
In addition to helping gain an idea of the butterfly population, participants also learned butterfly identification and ecology at seven sites in Rhode Island.
