WARWICK, R.I. -- Mark Yu was ordered held without bail Monday afternoon, charged with bludgeoning his parents to death in their North Providence home.
Assistant Attorney General Scott Erickson said the victims, Young Yu and his wife, Yeon Yu, had been dead for about two days when police went to check on their well-being.
Ericson said police found Young Yu wrapped in bedding on the second floor, Mrs. Yu in the basement, also wrapped up, and their son in a second floor bathroom. Erickson did not say what Mark Yu was doing in the bathroom.
Mark Yu is is expected back in court on July 29 for a bail hearing.
He also agreed to have a competency hearing.
