On Monday, Mark Yu, 36, stood in handcuffs and a white police-issued jumpsuit in Kent County District Court, charged with two counts of murder and two counts of failing to report a death.
Speaking clearly and sounding coherent, Yu referred to Judge Joseph T. Houlihan as "sir" and agreed to undergo a competency review before Houlihan ordered him held without bail, pending a July 29 bail-review hearing.
