JOHNSTON, R.I. -- A Warwick man says that an intoxicated Johnston police officer repeatedly threatened to "blow everybody away" after she burst into his apartment on Aug. 5, demanding money and drugs, according to a report from the Warwick Police Department.
The 33-year-old man, Jamerson M. Bateman, also told the Warwick police that Officer Marisa Ciccone and her boyfriend wanted to find Bateman's former roommate in the Byron Boulevard house, according to Bateman's witness statement.
Bateman told police that the former roommate, who had already been kicked out of the house, was in possession of profits from drug deals and that Ciccone, who had participated in the deals, wanted to find him to get her share, says an arrest report.
Warwick police have charged Ciccone with breaking and entering, simple assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
Police Chief Richard S. Tamburini of Johnston announced Friday that Ciccone, a probationary officer, had been fired.
