David Darlington, the chairman of the state Turnpike and Bridge Authority, said he is recovering from a heart attack he suffered last Monday while a guest on a radio talk show.
He said he feels good and that his doctors have told him he should stick to normal activities without major exertion.
Darlington said he experienced pressure on his chest during an the interview on WPRO, and surgeons later inserted a stent into his chest. A stent is a medical device used to keep arteries open.
