Foul play ruled out in deaths of mother, son in car found in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. -- Investigators have ruled out foul play in the deaths Saturday of a mother and child, whose bodies were found inside a parked car in the Fairfax Village apartment complex.

Detective Capt. Robert S. Nelson said autopsies did not immediately reveal how Kathleen Frink, 39 and Ryan Frink, 3, died, but tests would continue to determine how the cause.

Nelson said there was no apparent trauma to the bodies, and no disease was detected.
