PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- AIDS Project RI which has been planning for the 28th AIDS Walk for Life Sept. 28 has also been busy moving to a new location.
During the past few days AIDS Project RI has been moving its 20 employees and volunteers from 404 Wickenden St. to a former medical building at 9 Pleasant St., according to a news release from Family Service of RI. of which AIDS Project RI is a division.
A grand opening is being planned for the fall.
AIDS Project RI offers an array of services to prevent the spread of HIV, facilitate HIV testing, and care for people living with HIV/AIDS. Services include case management, emergency financial assistance, mental health counseling and psychiatric care, HIV testing and more. AIDS Project RI serves over a thousand people a year.
