CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. - - The Central Falls police are looking for the person who stole a black Mustang and ended up crashing it into a porch on Earle Street Saturday while fleeing the police.
The black Mustang was reported stolen out of Pawtucket and its security system alerted the police. The driver of the car sped off when he spotted the police, according to Major Daniel Barzykowski. He said the police did not give chase but followed.
When the car crashed into the porch, all of the occupants fled, but the police caught an adult male and a juvenile. The driver got away. The police have not charged the two because they continue to investigate the theft, Barzykowski said.
