PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Amtrak service between New Haven, Conn., and Providence has been restored after crews cleared storm debris that had fallen on the railroad's overhead wire system near Cranston.
Amtrak says one track remains out of service as of noon Friday because of a large tree and other debris that fell following storms that moved through the area Thursday night.
Passengers can expect some delays until the second track is returned to operation.
