The number of customers without power throughout Rhode Island continues to mount Monday evening, according to National Grid, totalling more than 116,000 at this time.
As of 8:50 p.m., the southwestern coastal town of Westerly has the most customers without electricity, at 13,616 or 95.6 percent.
But all of Tiverton, at the top of Narraganset Bay, is said to be without power at this time, affecting 8,135 customers.
Charlestown, Westerly's eastern neighbor, has 98.8 percent of its customers without electricity.
Tiny Little Compton, at Rhode Island's easternmost tip, has 99.9 percent without power, but the numbers are small: 2,557 customers. Ditto the percentage for rural Foster, though inland, which has 2,014 without electricity.
As for Block Island, out there in the ocean: No report from National Grid. It has its own diesel-powered generating system.
