PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- That Fall feeling has returned, with dry and brisk air throughout Rhode Island.

Highs will only reach around 51 today, with winds up to gusts of 20 mph, according to our weather partners at WPRI.

Tonight will be mostly clear and chilly with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning beginning at 11 p.m. for Providence, until 9 a.m. Monday.

Election day should be much like today, but Wednesday is expected to be cold, rainy and damp with some periods of heavy rain and gusty winds -- nothing like Sandy, but rainy and windy, especially along the coast.

The sunset is at 4:35 p.m. this afternoon, after moving the clocks back one hour this weekend for daylight saving time.
