PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence police are searching for a man who robbed a CVS store in the Wanskuck neighborhood Thursday night.
A clerk at the CVS on 400 Admiral St. told police that a man wearing a black leather jacket and black skull cap came in just before 8:30 p.m. and demanded money, according to a police report. The man motioned to his waistband, as if he had a gun, and the clerk turned over cash from her register.
The robber ran off on Douglas Avenue, but he'd already been caught on store surveillance video.
Detective Capt. Michael Correia said Friday afternoon that investigators have identified a suspect and are obtaining a warrant for his arrest.
