Competitive football (well, it's somewhat competitive anyway) returns to New England tonight when the Patriots host their first preseason game, against the New Orleans Saints.
But not everyone in Rhode Island will be able to catch the game on television. It is being broadcast locally on myRITV, a digital subchannel of WNAC (Fox 64).
MyRITV will carry three of the four Pats games on the exhibition schedule, including the road games Aug. 24 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Aug. 29 against the New York Giants. The Aug. 20 home game against the Philadelphia Eagles will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
MyRITV is not available on Dish Network or DirecTV. Here's how to find it through other providers:
Cox: Channel 811 (SD), Channel 1015 (HD)
Verizon: Channel 14 (SD), Channel 514 (HD)
Comcast: Channel 292 (SD), Channel 820 (HD, some areas)
Full Channel: 191
Charter: 113
In the Boston market, the game will be broadcast on WBZ (Channel 4).
