LINCOLN, R.I. -- A masked man held up a liquor store in Manville late Saturday night, stealing money, vodka and cigarettes.
The 60-year-old owner of the One Stop Liquor store, at 97 Railroad St., said the robber came in around the 10 p.m. closing time and pointed a gun at him, said Lincoln Police Chief Brian Sullivan.
As the robber grabbed cash, two bottles of vodka and cigarettes, he fled when other customers came into the store, Sullivan. The man was seen running toward Gaulin Street.
The robber was dressed in black and concealed his face under a partial mask, Sullivan said. He appeared to be light-skinned.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Detective Brian Molis, (401) 333-1111.
