NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Police are investigating a rollover crash that sent a Providence woman to the hospital.
Police said the accident occurred just before midnight Friday, near the Slaterville exit of Route 146. Police said driver Jessica Marquez of Providence was injured in the accident and transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition Saturday.
Police said a second vehicle, driven by Javier Jaramillo of Central Falls, was also involved. He was not injured. No charges had been filed Saturday.
