EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A walker along the East Bay Bike Path Sunday discovered a man's body washed up on the Narragansett Bay shoreline, according to the police.
The unidentified man's body was found around 8:30 a.m. near the Squantum Association and "appeared to have been in the water for some time," Lt. Raymond Blinn said.
"There's nothing at this point that screams suspicious," other than that the body was found in the water, Blinn said. The medical examiner's office was called in and the case has been handed over to detectives, he said.
