Mix of snow, rain expected Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Today's cold temperatures will extend into the evening with lows in the mid to upper 20s, according to our weather partners at WPRI.

A wet Sunday is in store, with a mix of snow and freezing rain that could make roads slippery, according to meteorologist Pete Mangione.

Sunday night, rain will continue to fall, with some pockets of freezing rain in the northern part of the state.

The outlook for the week calls for more rain with highs in the mid 40s.
