WARWICK, R.I. -- Officials at T.F. Green Airport, who had hoped to select a new airport director at a board meeting Wednesday, said that will not happen.
"We have not come to any agreement with a candidate at this point in time," airport lawyer Kendra Beaver, who has been working with the search committee, said Monday. The committee is screening candidates to replace Kevin Dillon, former president and chief executive of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, who left in July to take a similar post at Connecticut's Bradley International Airport. The Airport Corporation is a state agency that runs Green and five smaller state-owned airports.
The search committee will meet Wednesday at 3 p.m. to discuss candidates before the full board meets at 4.
