PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The warm weather will continue through the weekend with the temperature expected to reach 55 degrees Sunday, our weather partners at WPRI say.
Rain is in the forecast for Friday, but it shouldn't start until tonight, according to the forecast from meteorologist Michelle Muscatello. Hazy morning sunshine will give way to increasing clouds before the rain. Today's high should hit the low to mid 40s.
On Saturday, the region should see light rain in he morning and some sun later in the day. The highs should reach 45 to 50.
Sunday brings clouds, hazy sun and a high temperature near 55 inland, and 50 closer to the shore. Showers move in late.
