PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The accumulating snow has ended after leaving up to 5 inches of snow on parts of Rhode Island and Southern New England, according to our weather partners at WPRI.
The highest totals were near the coast, with Wakefield and Martha's Vineyard getting 5 inches, Newport getting 4.1 inches, WPRI says. Residents of most inland areas are waking up to just 1 to 2 inches..
Cold air has moved in and will stick around. Roads could be slick for the morning commute.
Today's high temperature will reach just the mid 20s. Wind gusting up to 30 mph will make it feel colder.
