WEST WARWICK, R.I. -- A West Warwick man is being held without bail on charges of selling heroin in Warwick and West Warwick.
Anthony J. Evans, 51, of 67 E. Main St., 2nd floor, faces charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin in Warwick and West Warwick. Evans, who was on probation on a felony charge of receiving stolen goods, was also charged by the West Warwick police with conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act by.
A violation hearing on the receiving stolen goods charge is scheduled for Jan. 31.
Evans was arrested Jan. 18 after a five-month investigation by the West Warwick, Cranston and Warwick police departments.
