PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A record high temperature was matched today for the Providence area, according to the National Weather Service.
The temperature reached 62 degrees, tying a mark previously set for the date in 1988, according to the National Weather Service.
The normal high is 38 degrees.
By the way, the record low for today's date is 6 degrees below zero, set in 1920.

Enjoy the warm weather while you can.
Tomorrow's high is expected to reach just 35 degrees, nowhere near the record of 64.
