PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Freezing rain, sleet and snow on this Monday morning could slicken roads and make driving more difficult, especially north of Providence, according to our weather partners at WPRI.
The temperature is expected to rise to about 41 degrees, turning the precipitation to all rain by about 10 a.m. to noon, according to the forecast by meteorologist Michelle Muscatello.
Some streets could also flood because some drains are still blocked by snow from the weekend storm.
A chance of rain showers will linger into the evening and the temperature should stay above freezing, dropping to about 34 degrees.
Tuesday looks mostly sunny with highs around 44 degrees. An offshore storm could bring light snow Tuesday night.
