PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- National Grid officials say about 15,000 customers who remain without power Monday should be back up in service by midnight.
Most of the power failures are in the South County area, said David Graves, a company spokesman.
About 450 crews are working throughout the state, Graves said, bringing in front-end loaders to clear snow in unplowed areas and remove trees.
More than 181,000 customers had lost power at one point.
