Light snow showers Saturday with a few moderate bursts north and west of I-95 will leave a coating to 1 inch of snow before sunset. Isolated 2-inch amounts are possible in western and northern Rhode Island. High temperatures will be in the mid 30s.

Look for additional light-to-moderate accumulations tonight as an ocean storm tracks well south and east of southern New England.

On Sunday, snow will linger through noon, leaving total accumulations of 2-5 inches. It will turn partly sunny by afternoon/evening, but windy and much colder with highs in the mid to upper 20s on winds gusting up to 45 mph. Wind chills will be in the single digits at times.

Sunday night will be clear, windy, and bitter cold with temperatures only reaching 10-15 degrees.
Will chills could drop below zero degrees.
