WARWICK, R.I. -- Jurors on Monday heard from a defiant Patricia Delomba in the murder trial of her ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez.
Delomba's responses under cross-examination by defense lawyer Nicholas Gelfuso came in retorts, scoffing and derisive comments, despite warnings from Superior Court Judge Bennett Gallo.
"I'm not gonna deal with him," Delomba told the judge of Gelfuso.
"Clear?" she said in another instance.
Gelfuso led Delomba through text messages she sent Gonzalez in the days leading up to the fatal shooting of Carl Cunningham in her house. In them, Delomba berated Gonzalez as a gun-carrying baby for not fighting her new boyfriend.
He's now on trial for murder.
