Like the celebrity that he is, Banana Joe greeted his public Monday at the lobby of the Providence Marriott Downtown Hotel by striking poses and looking straight at the camera. It helped a bit that a woman in the crowd that surrounded him was holding up a stuffed toy duck that he wanted.

Like the celebrity that he is, Banana Joe greeted his public Monday at the lobby of the Providence Marriott Downtown Hotel by striking poses and looking straight at the camera. It helped a bit that a woman in the crowd that surrounded him was holding up a stuffed toy duck that he wanted.
The Affenpinscher which won Best in Show was quite accommodating for a dog that just won Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and had been on a whirlwind tour of celebrity stops that included a cameo appearance on Broadway and a visit to Wall Street to ring the opening bell.
His handler Ernesto Lara said that one of the things that helped Banana Joe win is his incredible charisma.
"He doesn't know that he is a small dog and has a pushed-in face."
