PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A New Bedford, Mass., gang member has been indicted for murder in the Aug. 26, 2012, shooting death of a Wareham, Mass., man outside the Monet Lounge on Harris Avenue.
Terrel Barros, 23, is accused of being the trigger man in the slaying of Jamal Cruz, which took place in the club's parking lot after what was described as a minor disagreement.
The Providence County Grand Jury on Friday also indicted Barros for assault with a dangerous weapon and multiple firearms offenses.
The grand judry also indicted Stephen Bodden, 22, on charges of receiving stolen goods, a .40 caliber pistol, carrying a pistol without a license and misprision of a felony knowing that a crime had been committed.
The indictment alleges that Bodden, whom police also describe as a New Bedford gang member, tried to conceal the murder weapon.
