Amber Alert issued for two boys allegedly abducted by grandmother in North Stonington

NORTH STONINGTON, Conn. -- The police have issued an Amber Alert for two boys who were abducted from their daycare Tuesday afternoon.

Although the boys, Ashton and Alton Perry are believed to be with their grandmother, police were advising people not to approach her vehicle, a white 2001 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with Connecticut plates 445 ZAZ.

Due to information she left in a letter, police are urging the public to be cautious and to call 911 instead.
