PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Expect rain, heavy at times, for much of the day on this Wednesday before it tapers to light showers by the middle or late afternoon, according to our weather partners at WPRI.
The region could see as much as 1 to 2 inches of rain and that could cause minor street flooding, WPRI says. Coastal flooding could also happen around high tide.
The wind will blow from the east at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
The temperature today should reach the mid to upper 40s by late day.
Thursday looks mostly cloudy with lingering showers and a high near 48.
